  • Do children always do as they’re told? Absolutely not! It’s no different when it comes to having their photos taken. Every child is different. Shy, stubborn, excitable, mardy, you name it, I’ve worked with them! Your children’s personalities are what makes them unique, and what will make you cherish your photos all the more when they’re all grown up! Allow your child to be themselves during your family session and I promise you it’ll be perfect in its own way. I also recommend bringing bribes, so that helps too!

  • I’ve heard this so many times. It’s natural for mums to feel a little self-conscious. I’m able to find flattering natural light that’ll enhance your beauty. We’ll also work together to pick out outfits that’ll make you look and feel amazing! Plus, in years to come, your children won’t care how you looked, and neither will you! All you’ll notice was how happy you look.

  • Oh, the joys of living in the North of England! I’ll check the weather forecast a few days before the session and if it looks like it might rain, I’ll reschedule. Bad weather can make it quite miserable for children, especially if they’re already feeling nervous about having their photo taken, and so I prefer to set a new date if it’s going to rain. This will be communicated to you the day before.

  • Helping my clients choose their outfits is something I really enjoy. For my clients, it seems this is the most difficult decision to make, therefore I want to alleviate this problem as much as possible. Upon booking, I’ll provide you with a style guide that’s full of tips and tricks on how to choose the perfect outfits for all the family. I also encourage you to send photos of outfit options for a more personalised experience.

  • Yes! It’s important to me that you absolutely adore your final photos. I’ll provide you with a link to your personal online gallery that’ll contain 10-15 images. This gallery will include the absolute best of the best photos from your session. You’ve hired me because you trust that I’ll give you stunning photographs of your family, with perfect compositions and genuine connections, meaning that I’ll go through each photo taken and select only the ones up to this high standard. You can then select your 3 images already included in the price or purchase the entire digital gallery.
